YUM!!

Here is the delicious bar treat that I have been asked to bring to parties many times throughout the years. I actually cannot remember the first time I made it, or where the recipe came from. All I know is that I NEVER bake anything. Seriously. If I baked 3 times in a year that would be a lot. But it’s so easy, even I can’t mess it up! In fact, this would be a great treat to make with your kids! I hope you enjoy this simple dessert as much as my family & friends have!

The Goods!

Recipe

2 8oz packages cream cheese

2 Rolls of store bought chocolate chip cookie dough (or one big size roll)

1 Tablespoon Vanilla

1 Egg

1/2 Cup sugar

Set cream cheese out to soften slightly for about 15mins. Preheat oven to 350. Lightly mist a 13×9 pan with non-stick spray. Press one roll of the chocolate chip cookie dough into bottom of the pan. It doesn’t need to be perfect. In mixing bowl combine the egg, sugar, vanilla, and both packs cream cheese. Blend with beater until smooth. Spread into the pan over top of the cookie dough. Crumble the other package of cookie dough over the top of the cream cheese layer. Bake for about 40mins, or until top is lightly brown and center is set. Let cool before cutting and store in fridge…if there’s any left!
