When I started this blog last year in May, one of my posts was about my desire for, and journey to, living with less. This month I have decided to recommit to minimal living by challenging myself and taking part in The Minimalists 30 Day Minimalism Game . I love these guys and just watched their new movie on Netflix The Minimalists Less Is Now. This of course inspired me to up my game by playing their game. So, the game consists of getting rid of “stuff” over the course of 30 days that is cluttering up your life and home. They claim anything goes, such as clothes, tools, décor, etc. Day one…1 item, Day 2…2 items, Day 3…3 items, and so on. You can see how this adds up quickly to be A LOT of “stuff”. Of course, I decided to do this right after I already got rid of a garbage bag filled with clothes, shoes, and other odds and ends. So now I am going to have to dig deep. Will I make it the 30 days? I don’t know. But I know it will be fun for me anyway. Yes, I said fun. Why?…because I’m weird and actually love getting rid of stuff I am not using. Especially if it’s stuff that can be donated and used by someone who really does need it.

My 30 Day Minimalism Game starts today and I am inviting you along to play! I bet you will enjoy it, as well as be surprised with what you find hiding around in those closets and drawers! We all seem to accumulate “stuff”. I’m not sure how it even happens. But sure enough, it does. Now’s the time to attack it! So let’s do this!

Have a wonderful day!
