Raspberry & Chocolate!

If you haven’t already guessed, I am a smoothie addict. I make and drink them every single day. I find that it’s just a super simple and easy way for me to have something that is, in my opinion, 100% nutritious. I also tend to struggle with trying to eat enough fruit, so if I can drink some it helps. Don’t get me wrong, you can easily make or buy smoothies that are so filled with sugar and junk that you might have been better off reaching for the ice cream. But that’s not how we roll here! I like to keep my smoothies real! Like real ingredients, real low in sugar, and real tasty! For this recipe, I happened to have some raspberries left over from a different creation that needed to be used up. Raspberries are high in fiber, as well as containing antioxidants. And of course, I had to add raw cacao powder. Because it just wouldn’t make sense not to. Enjoy!

Recipe

1 Cup Vanilla Almond Milk

1/3 Cup Vanilla Almond Yogurt

1/2 Banana

1 Scoop Protein Powder

2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup

1 Tablespoon Raw Cacao Powder

Handful of Red Raspberries

Ice cubes (Optional)

Place all ingredients in high speed blender and whirl until smooth…drink immediately or refrigerate.
